WMS Standard

WMS Standard (ci.Himalayas/R2) is a cloud warehouse management system that ships with more than 210 standard functions covering receiving, shipping, inventory control, stocktaking and billing, so it can go live quickly. Data from every branch and distribution centre is consolidated at headquarters with accurate real-time visibility. It serves 3PL providers, manufacturers, retailers and e-commerce warehouses across B2B and B2C operations.

Key features

Lower cost with cloud deployment

No servers to buy or maintain, so initial capital expenditure drops. Specialists operate the system, 24/7/365 support is available as an add-on, and on-premises deployment is offered when needed.

Fits every industry and size

In production from 1,000 shipment records a month to more than 1,000,000 a day, and from a single site to networks of 42 branches.

Proven integration with systems and equipment

Extensive experience integrating with sales and order systems and with material-handling equipment such as DAS, GAS and DPS, plus bulk import and flexible report export.

Secure, resilient cloud operations

Data lives in a disaster-resilient data centre, with an optional secondary server in a separate site for DR/BCP that stays continuously synchronised for fast recovery.

Highlights

  • Multi-owner and multi-warehouse operations on one platform
  • Four packaging levels: pallet, case, box and piece
  • Free-location and fixed-location storage
  • Expiry date and lot number control with expiry alerts
  • Blocks shipments that miss each customer's expiry requirement
  • Real-time inventory visibility and product traceability
  • Wireless handheld terminal operations
  • Prints barcode labels for unlabelled goods at receiving
  • Set products, including sample and catalogue attachments
  • Cancel individual shipping documents after order release

Built for organisations facing these challenges

Outgrowing Excel or a basic system

ProblemSpreadsheets worked while volumes were low, but growth has made warehouse work too complex to manage that way.

What the system doesA WMS built for warehouse work, with receiving, shipping, counting, public-warehouse and e-commerce functions. Use only the parts you need.

Replacing a legacy WMS

ProblemAgeing client-server hardware is hard to maintain, and the old WMS no longer covers current operations.

What the system doesMove to the cloud with no hardware to own, a dedicated team running the system, and customisation that matches how you actually work.

Branches that can’t see each other

ProblemHeadquarters cannot see branch inventory in real time, so company-wide control suffers.

What the system doesMulti-branch cloud architecture centralises data, with real-time inventory and activity for every site.

Frequently asked questions

How long does WMS Standard take to implement?

Using standard functions with master data such as product information prepared in advance, go-live can take as little as about two weeks.

What happens between installation and go-live?

Master data is registered and users are trained, then an operational rehearsal confirms the processes work as planned. Initial inventory is imported before live receiving and shipping begin.

How is existing master and stock data migrated?

During training we provide an Excel template for ci.Himalayas/R2. You fill in products, storage locations and quantities, and the file is imported.

Which picking methods are supported?

Single (order-based) picking, total picking plus order picking, total picking plus seed picking, and total picking plus set-product sortation.

Can the system be customised?

Yes. As the developer we customise to requirements; common requests are the outbound order data format and the delivery note layout.

How is data secured?

All internet traffic, including FTP, is SSL-encrypted. The developer, parent company C.NET Group in Japan, is ISO 27001 certified and the system runs on ISO/IEC 27001-compliant cloud infrastructure with Tier 4-equivalent performance and security.
